Please be patient while loading THE RESERVE The Sable Hills Private Reserve is situated on the farms Witbank and Wolvenfontein in the Limpopo Province.
This impressive expanse of diverse African bush is adjacent to the Mokolo Nature Reserve of 4600 hectares and the Mokolo dam the biggest dam in the Limpopo Province and bordering for 6 km on the Mokolo river as it flows out of this dam. It is on the northern slopes of the Waterberg mountains and has the advantage of both sweet veld as well as sour veld. The farms measures approximately 2000 hectares.
The perimeter is about 20 km and will be fully Gamefenced. The property is unspoilt with unsurpassing vistas which would take your breath away. Sable Hills is packed with indigenous wildlife including smaller cats like Genet and Caracal. It is the last home of the rare Roan antelope and Sharpes Grysbok in their natural state. There are no Elephant, Lion, Buffalo or Rhino as it was decided that the presence of these animals would limit the ability to move around the Reserve freely and safely. Sable Hills is rich in birdlife with more than 290 species. This part of the bushveld is also particularly rich in insects and reptiles.
